Budget Allocation

Budget Allocation is the second phase of the budget creation process.

After entering the details of the budget, this is where you'll decide how you "split" your budget as well as assign funds.

In CCM, you are able to split budgets by any level of your organizational hierarchy, the most common splits are by product category, service line or facility.

After splitting your budget, you are empowered to allocate dollars to your budget split with data from your CCM instance. Some key highlights to find here are your ability to see split-level risk scores and how big of an impact the allocated dollar amount will have. Budget Allocation also shows you the total of new capital requests association to your split selection that have been submitted and the impact of allocated funds.

After completing your version controlled budget allocation, you'll move into phase three of the budget creation process: Asset Selection.
